Preferably in the sun, hose down the
teak furniture, and allow it to air dry.
Execute this step twice to ensure
natural oils rise to the surface.

Very lightly, sand the teak with 220
grit sandpaper or higher to eliminate
any surface oils and address any
lightly raised teak grain that may
have occurred during this process.

Inspect cushions for staining. If
cushions have any staining, follow the
next steps to remove the stain(s).

Universal warrants its outdoor fabrics against defects in materials and workmanship, including fabric cushions and slings, for one (1) years from the date of initial shipment to the dealer when properly maintained and cleaned per the product’s instructions. This warranty does not protect against mildew, mold, dirt, pollen, and other organic matter which routine cleaning will prevent from forming on the material. Nor does this warranty cover any discoloration, deterioration, or fading caused by misuse or abuse, improper installation, chemicals, cleaning products, sun lotions, extreme heat or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Remove cushion cover.

Mild Stains: Soak cushion in
oxy-clean powder for 2 - 4 hrs.

Severe Stains: Soak cushion
in oxy-clean powder for
6 - 8 hrs or overnight.

During the soaking process, agitate
the stain with a soft-bristled brush.
This step may need to be repeated
if the stain does not come out in
the first attempt.

Rinse throughly.

Allow cushion cover to air dry.

Once dry, place the cushion cover
back on cushion and enjoy!
